Sorry for the slow response, the holidays are slowing me down!
The transmission adapter is to adapt a porsche transaxle to the DOHC fiat blocks. It was developed to put a twin cam engine in a Fiat 850 coupe. It works with a few porsche transaxles and also a couple of VW ones.
